Hedva, a mother of 3 who paints Ketubot (decorative marraige contracts) is deeply committed to raising her son who has Down Syndrome and to supporting her husband's career.  When Hedva is invited to exhibit her work in Prague, she discovers just how strongly the emotional entanglements of home, bind her to the household.
