Esther and Rachel are living in a shelter for ultra-orthodox women who have gotten pregnant before marriage.  A special bond is forged between the two women, one of whom is extrovert and one of whom is unnaturally silent.  The friendship enables them to survive the serious challenges they must face over the coming months.
