The following prizes were awarded to the new Ma'aleh graduate films of 2016 at the Ma'aleh awards ceremony:

The Gravedigger's Daughter, directed by Shira Gabai, won the Mayor of Jerusalem Prize for best fictional film. The film also won the Eliyahu Roichman prize for best Zionist film.

Shelldirected by Hagai Adorian, won the Jerusalem Foundation Prize for documentary film.

Cold Water, directed by Tehila Peter Dansker, won the Professor Louis Schwarzer prize for best Jewish Film, and one of four Jerusalem Prizes awarded by the Jerusalem Film & Television Film Fund.

The Dream Factory, directed by MIchal Pinsky won the Ynet Audience Favorite Award and one of four Jerusalem Prizes awarded by the Jerusalem Film & Television Film Fund.

Biography, directed by Arik Kaufman, won the Biluya Maoz Award for social values  and one of four Jerusalem Prizes awarded by the Jerusalem Film & Television Film Fund.

Taken, directed by Hadas Yona, was awarded one of four Jerusalem Prizes awarded by the Jerusalem Film & Television Film Fund.

The prize for Best Producer was awarded to Orit Lauper. 

The prize for Best Editor was awarded to Shira Meishar.

The Gesher Multi-Cultural Film Fund awarded grants for a short film script development to Arik Kaufman (Director & Producer Track) and Orit Schlissel (Scriptwriting Track.)

The Gesher Multi-Cultural Film Fund also awarded a grant for script development of a full length feature to Shinhav Kol Inbar  (Scriptwriting Track.)
