The films "The French Revolution" by 2015 graduate Hai Afik, and "Home Made" by 2017 graduate Shira Meishar have both made it to the semi-final of the 44th Student Academy Awards. Only 85 films of the 1586 student films submitted to the Academy were picked as semifinalists.
