Congratulations to Maaleh graduate Avigail Sperber and Maaleh lecturer Sharon Luzon, awarded Best Israeli Film for their film “Inbal Perlmutter - If You Let Me Go”. The win gives the film an automatic nomination for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Film. The jury's rationale: "A sensitive description of a tormented and charismatic soul that makes diverse and wide use of narrative and cinematic means to tell a fascinating and tragic story."

Congratulations also to Nahar Cohen for winning the third place in the student competition with his graduate film “Labor Pains”.
