Maaleh teachers and graduates have been providing photography and film workshops around Israel, for youth who have been evacuated from their homes since the start of the war, for soldiers and for welfare staff. This week we visited hotels at the Dead Sea where hundreds of evacuees have been placed after Hamas destroyed their homes on the Gaza border. Photographer and film lecturer Bosmat Ivi provided a welcome break for young evacuess with her photography workshop (pictured here).

Graduate Boaz Shahak taught youth evacuees staying at the Ramat Rahel hotel in Jerusalem how to make a film clip with their phones about their dislocation experience:  https://youtu.be/A6IRvGIVByI

If you too would like to benefit from film workshops for evacuees we provide:

1. Screenings of a variety of short films together with a young director or Maaleh educator.

2. Workshops in still photography or film, for youth or adults

3. Creative writing workshops

4. Lectures on Cinema
