"Good Morning, Smadi, you're not backward anymore."
Smadi was removed from her home at 2 years old due to her disabilites and has grown up in various institutions. After a long battle, Smadi has succeeded in being allowed to live on her own and to prove, once and for all, that allthough she has limitations she is not "backward".
Smadi, now aged 28 is struggling to be absorbed into society.  She has planned a birthday party for herself and she dreams that for the first time ever, her family will attend and admit her into their lives.
