A window into the world of four ultra-Orthodox Jewish women: the conflicts, the dilemmas, the dreams and the dangerous balancing act on a knife edge between God and art, between the demands of the ultra-Orthodox world and the women's innermost desires. This is a lyric documentary about the tentative first steps in a painful journey towards truth and self-realization.
